First of, Tom Frank has a good op-ed in the WSJ today. TF will be a regular columnist at that occasionally esteemed media outlet.
In head-scratching news, I went into the kitchen in the office today and there were 4 giant fennel bulbs and two wilted heads of lettuce on the table. Who really knows what is going on here.

Are you confusing the fact that you agree with Tom's general point (or perhaps tone as its unclear what, exactly, Tom's point is) with the fact that's its "good"?
And how/where exactly was "the national punditry clucking" in linking Tom's work to Obama's comments? I didn't see anything of that sort google doesn't support the assertion either.
