I got all the forms to join my union yesterday, and after sending them off today, confirmed on the internets that I am a member of David Simon's old local, Washington Baltimore Newpaper Guild, CWA Local 32035. My life is now complete.
For some reason, my employer has a collective bargaining agreement with Local 25035 that covers me. So yeah, David Simon and I are in the same union. So if heaven is divided up by subcrafts, I will get to spend eternity with him, assuming we're both there.

I take it that this is a Wire thing? Or are you becoming a journalist in the DC metro region?
