Now I Remember

We see Juno the other night, which I thought was funnyish and cute, mostly because I could watch Michael Cera paint the house. Not because he's hot; he just cracks me up. Anyway, on my drive to Ukiah last night, I figured out what annoyed me about it. Basically, its this: there is no relationship between the soundtrack amd the main character. Normally this doesn't matter too much in the movie. In this case, Juno is an Iggy Pop/Mott the Hoople fan. But she hates Sonic Youth and sings Moldy Peaches. The soundtrack is so twee that twee thinks its too twee. Iggy Pop would vomit on this soundtrack, even today in his geriatric state. I like the soundtrack but its annoying.
