Here's what I thought I would do. I thought I would do a poll of my various options at this point and let you, the readers, be the judge of this blog's fate. But then I decided that I was too lazy to figure out how to add a poll, so instead, I will just list the options, and you can comment on them. Be aware, if I don't get comments from certain people, I will assume that this blog has lost its core readership, and I may not continue it.
1. Stop blogging; I follow you on Facebook.
2. Stop blogging; I follow you on Twitter.
3. Stop blogging at this website; I will follow you onto a software platform that is easier to post to.
4. Keep blogging here. **
5. If you get fired from this or any future job because of any content or revelations on this blog, I promise to employ you at your last rate of pay ad finitem to continue this blog.

My vote is both selfish and hypocritical. I say yes, keep blogging because I want to keep reading but my own blogging engine is old and rusty. It has been 10 years though. Even though I have contributed nothing to the world with those 10 years of blabbing it's fun, for me anyway, to have the record of it.
I would say go for using something else that makes it easier to blog (& I'd recommend Wordpress) but I know that I often use the need/desire for upgrades as an excuse for more procrastination. But there isn't much I don't use as an excuse for procrastination.
But my plea: keep at it! No one blogs anymore and I need things to read during all that procrastination.
Dude, I for sure want you to keep blogging. Not that I write on my blog much at all, of course. But I have protected my brain from knowledge of Twitter, and don't check Facebook all that often. Plus, I like you long-form. :)
I like it when you write longer posts, so while I read you on FB (and read your Tweets that get posted there), I'd miss the blog if it went away. But I'm not one to talk. My blog is pathetic these days, and I'm not even working. (Actually, that might be part of the problem. I hate sitting at the computer if I don't have to.)
Keep blogging for gods sake. I live across the street and haven't spoken to you for a month. Even if you've decided to become a physical hermit, I still think that you should have a long form virtual presence.
I vote (4). We're not friends on FB, I don't use Twitter, and since I myself am precariously employed, I can't say (5), y no hablo Español, so (6) is right out as well.
Your blog is still good - I find things here that I wouldn't otherwise know/think about, and one can't really say fairer than that. Hang in there. I took a whole year off for many of the same reasons you cite.
I'm trying to get back into it now, but without putting pressure on myself or doing too much hand-wringing.
Please don't stop blogging -- I found you totally by accident (over a "dental" issue) and I love to check in now and then. You are a great writer and I find your posts both stimulating and laughter-inducing -- two things the world needs much more of. I hope I am not too late.... I see you are blogging less frequently...
