I have decided that it would be highly rude to live-blog a funeral but that was a tough journalistic decision. Visits with family are tough, but here's a toxic combo: family you don't know very well + Loudonville, NY + maudlin-ness + LaQuinta + death = inappropriate giggling ad, yes, winking. I cannot stop winking at my sister. What is up with families? Who ever suggested that they were a rich source of drama, not a endless fount of giggles? Chekhov? You are wrong here.
