What The...?

I think I am a reasonably intelligent person. Not Harvard Business School smart, maybe, but I went to the University of Chicago, and I have three degrees and no bar complaints against me (that would be the California State Bar, by the way). People say I'm smart, funny, trust me to do reasonably complicated intellectual tasks. So then why the HELL do I not understand a word of this article: Obama's Seven Lessons for Radical Innovators?

All I can say is, thank GOD Obama did not read that article before he ran for President. Otherwise, he would still be sitting in his office in Springfield, Illinois, holding his head from the pain of trying to understand what it even means.

Okay, I'm with you. I thought I got a bit of the middle of it, but then was lost again. It is exactly how I felt after law school; returning briefly to the land of academia and my beloved, but notoriously unintelligable, passive-voice-using, socio-cultural-economic writers who speak in "hegemonics" and "normatives." What the fuck are you trying to say here? We do, however, spend a fair amount of time reading stories for the six and under set, so it is *possible* that maybe certain switches have just flipped off for us these days.
